Question by pinkpowerranger101: What’s a proxy if your trying to download Adobe flash player?

I’ve been trying to download Adobe flash player for a while now because my other computer isn’t working so I decided to use this one, and it doesn’t have the flash player but everytime I try to download it, it pops up with the download screen but it stays at 00.00% and then another window pops up about something called a proxy or something. And I have no idea what that is, so can someone please help me?

Did you go here…

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

This will download and auto install Flash player for the particular browser.
So click on “I Agree Install Now”

On the next page click on “click here to download” where you see…

Your download will start automatically.
If it does not start, click here to download

This will let you download and save the Flash Player
