Question by lex luy: How to configure firewall and proxy in opera so i can download torrents?

my opera bittorrent download doesn’t start even I’ve tried it soo many times. It was working nicely for some weeks, but I dunno what changes have been made so it won’t work anymore. When I click “test”, it said something about the firewall and proxy, and that I should unblock opera. How is the way to do that, about configuring firewall and proxy, and unblocking the opera??

really thank you a lot for your contributions.

Sorry, but I’m not sure about the one for Opera as I don’t use Opera, but I recommend using a program just meant for torrents. uTorrent is 1st or 2nd is the most used and one of the best torrent clients. They also just released version 2.0.1 which they say has improved performance, and it seems it does, as I used version 2 for a long time. You can get it here: http://www.utorrent.com/downloads
Like I say, it’s quite good, has a great simple interface which you can get custom buttons for on their site, and is one of the smallest (313.8 KB) torrent clients.

What do you think? Answer below!
