The web browser sees a website (proxy) as unblocked, so allows you to access it. When you use the proxy, it loads data from DeviantArt because wherever the proxy is hosted, it has access to everything. Then it packs up the data in its own website to make it look legit, and sends it to you.

It’s very complex, and that’s why sites like DeviantArt don’t work too hot on web proxies.

  1. Bob says:

A Proxy site is a web page which allows you to browse your favorite web sites — even though your access to those web sites might be blocked by a content filter.

If you find that you are blocked from your favorite websites, use one of web proxy sites to get around the block

Proxy sites enable you to bypass your own Internet provider and browse through the proxy web site. All that you have to do is type the web site address you would like to visit in the form they provide, and start browsing. Once you keep browsing using that form, you are protected and your real IP address is not being logged

you can get a HUGE list of fresh, fast, safe, and free proxy sites on SURF X MATIC
