Question by Sam_S: How to surf a forbidden site using proxy IP or proxy settings?

I moved to work in a country that loads of websites are forbidden.
I figured a way to surf using new proxy settings in my mozilla firefox. After a while this proxy stopped responding or just went out of order.
So I googled for a new proxy, and I found that might this kind of proxies called transparent or free open proxies. I tried lots of them but they all work just for one day or a maximum 7 days!!

Any help? PLEASE

i suggest getting swissvpn, it costs $5 for a month of unlimited internet usage on a private virtual private network.

that is what happens when use them —they are only good till they r picked up by the security filter —-word to the wise —be careful –don’t know where u r but some countries are really brutal when u brake the rules
and u betters start using sandboxie or returnil so u can wipe ur session
    both are free virtual machines

Proxies are really not very good at all and they get blocked all the time as you probably know. Plus they have issues with many web site features that make them useless.

The number of proxies run by hackers is also growing daily and you risk your computer and more using one that claims to be anonymous. Plus they are easy to break and leak information.

If you have been using proxies you should scan your computer with some good anti-malware software like malwarebytes and superantispyware as the chances of infection are high.

The only proxy I’ve found to be somewhat useful because it changes IP’s daily is http://www.wildtunnel.com. It is a limited proxy and only works with a few sites. But it seems to work most times and is safe to use.

The better approach is the Personal VPN which unblocks everything, encrypts your entire connection for security, and doesn’t get blocked daily. Plus it works on all web sites and all applications including flash. http://www.surfbouncer.com. Or you can email them at unblock@surfbouncer.com
