Question by Jon: How do you use a proxy with a p2p client?

I’m running on a mac and I have both transmission and vuze. I want to be able to download material using a proxy as to protect my anonymity. Can someone tell me how to do this? Also, how do I tell if the proxies are working once I put them in?

  1. Shawn says:

Proxies don’t work this way, they leak your IP address and will not hide you. They will however eventually get your computer hacked and used by hackers for their credit card scams and such.
