How do i fix my fire fox proxy setting?

Question by jimmy cc: How do i fix my fire fox proxy setting?

I currently installed fire fox and for some reason as soon as i open it, it automatically turns on proxy settings which i have to turn off each and every time. How do i keep proxy settings turned off!

Open Firefox, Click on “Tools” and choose “Options”. The Options window will now open. In the Options window, click on “Advanced”, then Click on the “Network” tab below “Advanced”. From here, Click on the “Settings…” button in the “Connection” menu. The “Connection Settings” window will now open. From here, Click on the “No proxy” radio button and then “OK” and then “OK” again.

This should clear up your problem.

    Follow the steps to fix your fire fox setting -

    -> Open Firefox browser.

    -> Click on Tool option which is available on the main menu bar. Scroll down and click “Options.”

    -> Select “Advanced” tab and select “Network” tab within the window.

    -> Click on the “Settings” button corresponding to “Configure how Firefox connects to the Internet.”

    -> Manipulate the proxy settings in the window that appears. This depends on your network.

    -> Hit the “OK” button when you are finished changing your proxy settings. Restart your browser.
