you said I could? ask a question about the product. When I test to see if it is working the check my vpn site says it can detect my IP address. Any idea why it isn’t working?
Actually a proxy/vpn can change that. If the proxy/vpn servers have a? high amount of traffic then the overall speed will decrease simply because the servers can’t handle it.
Well, your? download speed will depend on the seeders’ upload speeds, and, of course, how many seeders there are. The DL speed varies tremendously from torrent to torrent for those very reasons. I don’t think a proxy or VPN will really change that.
read VPN vs Proxy advantages at anonymitynetwork(DOT)com/vpn-vs-proxy.html may help you further with some additional? info.
A virtual private network (VPN) is a secure network that uses primarily public telecommunication infrastructures, such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or traveling users an access to a central organizational network. A VPN user typically? experiences the central network in a manner that is identical to being connected directly to the central network.

In computer networks, a proxy? server is a server (a computer system or an application) that acts as an intermediary for requests from clients seeking resources from other servers. A client connects to the proxy server, requesting a service, like a file, connection, webpage, or other resource from a different server. The proxy server evaluates the request as a way to simplify and control their complexity. Today, most proxies are web proxies, facilitating access to content on the World Wide Web.
Yes, this is what people? need to get in their heads.
True, but the lowest common denominator is what you must consider… if you have (hypothetically) 100 people connected who add 5Mbps of speed each, you’d have 500Mbps in theory, so assuming in a given moment you were the only? one downloading something, you won’t be doing so at that speed nor the max DL speed your connection allows, but if connecting through proxy/VPN with (say) max 2Mbps DL speeds that’ll be your max DL speed. I hope that’s clear can’t write at length cos of YT char limits.
Generally when purchasing one a proxy will only work with a torrent client. The VPN will protect ALL of your traffic. This isnt the? tech difference but more of the consumer difference.
This? guy knows whats up
VPN vs Proxy means nothing… It’s about how many users on a single server.. The more users,? the more the speed hit.. Simple as that
He’s using proxy no VPN bandwidth costs money and I am pretty sure there is way more traffic on proxy than VPN. I haven’t tried that but proXPN and HideMyAss also offer VPN at? similar price points… if you want max speed then I’d suggest VPN. Remember that Unlimited means they don’t cap it in any way and often how fast of a connection you get mostly depends on traffic and other factors.
BTGUARD IS IS A RIP OFF AND VERY SHADY BUSINESS. I WAS A CUSTOMER FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS, BUT AS SOON AS I COULD NOT USE PAYPAL ANYMORE, THEY TOLD ME I COULD NOT PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD OR ANY OTHER WAY. PLUS THEY WERE VERY RUDE AND TOOK WEEKS TO GET BACK TO ME. FOR SOME REASON YOU HAVE TO USE? PAYPAL, LIKE THEY GIVE YOUR IP INFO TO THEM. DON’T TRUST THEM. THEY ARE SPY’S. PLUS THEIR SPEED SUCKS!
For a minute,? I thought this was made BY Anonymous. lol
Holy shit! Thats? one painful speed hit
what is the diff between proxy and vpn?
